What is cPK?

CrossPointe Kids is a children’s ministry uniquely designed with your child in mind! Every Sunday all children (babies through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. We are so passionate about kids learning about Jesus in a way they can understand that we encourage all children to attend CPK. We would love to see you and your family visit CPK at a CrossPointe campus this Sunday. Join the fun and experience a world where kids meet Jesus on their level!

On Wednesday nights, children K-5th grade can attend CPKLive, our midweek version of CPK!
Doors open at 6pm for dinner followed by worship, Bible study, and fun!

What are CPQs?

CrossPointe Questions (CPQs) are designed to help you better connect with your kids on what we study at CPK for K-5th grade!
September 13th - CPQs

This week, we picked up again in our study of Genesis and looked at the story of Joseph and his brothers from
Genesis 37. This past Wednesday, we covered what we didn't get to on Sunday due to Family Sunday and that was the story of Jacob's dream from Genesis 27-28.

This week, in the story of Joseph and his brothers, we saw that God can be trusted. Kids need to be reminded that no matter what they are going through, God can be trusted to provide and care for them. We can show that best by sharing our own struggles and how we have seen God work things out.

As you discuss this week, think about this question:

Can God be trusted with everything?  Why or why not?

Three Ways to Get Involved:

  • SUNDAY CLASSROOMS:  Impact our future leaders by teaching them foundational Biblical principles and showing them how much Jesus loves them!
  • CHECK-IN DESK:  Serve our children without being in a classroom setting. Check children in, welcome their families, guide in our first-time guests to their classrooms, and introduce them to their teacher!
  • WEDNESDAY NIGHT - CPKLive:  Come alongside us for a midweek service for kids including a time of worship and games!
Ready to commit? Click the button for your next step!

Head to the Children's Check-in area and we will help check your child into Church Community Builder, our database system, and one of our staff or volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room. We'll take some time to get to know you. We'll ask about allergies, make sure we know what your child likes to be called, and collect your contact information.

Then, you and your child will both get a sticker with a matching code. If for any reason we need to reach you during the gathering, we will try to text you first and if that doesn't work you'll see your code in the top corner of the worship center screens. This sticker is also what you'll use to pick-up your child after gathering.

The safety and security of every child in CPK is our highest priority! This value manifests itself in many ways:

Every toy and environment is cleaned and sanitized to insure that germs and bacteria are not spread.

Every volunteer is screened with an extensive, seven step vetting process that we call the 'Kidsafe' process. This process includes an application, interview, reference checks, a federal background check, training, testing and placement.

Our whole team; from staff members to room leaders to security team - are vetted and trained to keep your kids safe!

Our desire is to ignite a passion in the next generation to follow Jesus with the aim to be gospel-centered disciple makers that know and love Jesus above all else! One of the ways that we do this is through our curriculum.

Curriculum is provided by Brite Curriculum. Brite is built on the Resilient Child Discipleship Philosophy - structured to help develop kids who know the Bible and can thus navigate a changing culture, build a strong foundation of faith, and love Jesus for the rest of their lives.

Parents can easily engage with their children about what they are learning by resources provided in our app, including CPQs that parents can use to discuss what was taught on Sunday morning.

All CPK services strive to be fun, engaging and fruitful for the children involved

We want kids to know there are people at church who care about them. As teachers commit to serving in the same service each week, children (and parents) begin to recognize familiar faces where relationships can grow.

Kids love fun! We create fun ways for children to learn about Jesus, including games, activities and singing. When children have fun at church, they can't wait to come back.

We encourage parents to keep the conversation going on the car ride home. We provide take home resources for parents for every lesson! Want to get more involved in what your child is learning? Follow Discovery Pointe Kids on Facebook to keep up with each week's key takeaway and Bible story.

The moms' viewing room is a place where mothers with newborns can spendsome time with their little ones and still watch the service together in a private environment.

Children must be free of any ailments such as fever, vomiting, runny nose and drainage for 24 hrs before returning to CPK. Children that are identified with with these issues are removed promptly from the room.

Despite our best efforts, we may still come across commonly hidden ailments such as, flu, strep, hand foot and mouth, lice, etc. We commit to transparent communication with every parent in a room that may have an apparent outbreak.

We are always interested in connecting with people that want to impact young lives for Jesus!

If you're interested in serving in our children's ministry area please complete The Kidsafe Application.

All volunteer candidates are screened with an extensive, seven step vetting process that we call the 'Kidsafe' process. This process includes an application, interview, reference checks, a federal background check, training, testing and placement.
