SOG is a family-friendly Overland community built around real adventure and real connection. In the true spirit of Overlanding, this isn’t about what badge is on your grill—if you’ve got 4WD or AWD, you’ve got a place here.

Our purpose is simple:

• Use adventure as a way to build memories that last.

We’re here to learn, explore, and roll together—not just over mountains and mud, but through every part of the journey. Bring your rig, your crew and your sense of adventure. Let’s hit the trail with purpose!

We're heading to the Southeast Adventure Vehicle Expo in Starke, FL, the largest adventure vehicle and overlanding expo in the Southeast. SAVE is a full weekend of built rigs, gear, vendors, workshops, and community—all centered around 4WD and AWD adventure vehicles and life off the pavement.

To fit different schedules and commitment levels, there are three trip options:

Option 1 — Early Rollout | Thu-Fri
Leave Thursday 26 February and run the Tread Lightly Trail in Ocala National Forest. This Jeep Badge of Honor trail focuses on Florida-style challenges rather than rocks or ledges. Expect soft sugary sand that demands momentum, shallow water crossings with soft muddy bottoms, and tight overgrown trails that can be narrower than a full-size vehicle. Difficulty ranges from 1-4 but conditions can change quickly and pinstripes are likely.

Option 2 — Expo Core Run | Fri-Sat
Leave Friday and head straight to Starke. Camp onsite with hundreds of other adventure vehicles at the expo (costs vary) or do dispersed camping in the nearby National Forest. Spend Saturday at the raceway exploring vendors, rigs, and seminars, then depart Saturday afternoon.

Option 3 — Wild Man Mode | Thu-Sun
Stay an extra night in Starke and head home Sunday. Slower pace, more camp time, fewer alarms.
