The Importance of Jesus' Burial

In Paul’s letter to the church in Ephesus he talks about us being dead in our sins and that God, being rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ! What a beautiful picture of salvation. Of course, all of that is made possible because of Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection. This event at Calvary was unjust, brutal and cruel. However, it is not the sufferings of Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection that is the most significant. Rather, it is what was accomplished by the cross that is to be celebrated as the most important event in human history! In this series we will examine the death of Christ, the importance of His burial, and the glorious resurrection of our Savior.
