The Church Really Does Matter!

In today’s world, many see the church as weak, irrelevant, ineffective, and out of touch. The church is often seen as the enemy of progress in a changing world. But for Christ, the church is uniquely valuable, supremely useful, and infinitely called to advance the kingdom of God. In reality, Jesus loves the church and so should we! Christians in America desperately need to understand the compelling vision of the church. We need to see the church as Jesus sees His bride. We need to discover, and then share in, the passion that Jesus Christ has for the church. In this 4 week series, our prayer is that we will recognize the great privilege it is to belong to the church and value the community of local believers in which we get to serve with. Our hope is that we will embrace the calling as followers of Christ to be more devoted to one another and gathering more consistently so that we may learn, grow, and serve together as the bride and body of Christ!
