At CrossPointe, we believe that everyone is called to be a "Co-Laborer" in the Gospel of Christ. This means that God has a specific way for ALL of us to be a part of what He's doing. As one body, we are to "labor" together to fulfill the call of Christ.

This team is responsible for maintaining a working order to the coffee bar during all services each Sunday by serving donuts, coffee, and drinks, taking out the trash, and being intentional to greet guests.

This team is responsible for preparing the church for Sunday morning services. Responsibilities include putting out announcement cards and connection cards, preparing for communion, and any other details to contribute to the services.

This team is responsible for the maintenance jobs around the church building such as painting, additions, repairing, etc. This team gets together on a needs basis and will contact team members as help is needed.

This team is responsible for the protection of the church and it's guests on Sundays. The team monitors the hallways and parking lot during each service, tends to situations as they arise, and assists with parking.

This team is responsible for leading people in worship. The different areas of this team are leading worship on stage, service coordinator to run the details of the many parts of a service, and stage crew to make the transitions from one part of the service to the next fluid.

This team is responsible for helping to catering events that CrossPointe has. The weekly responsibilities of this team is to set up and clean up the food provided weekly for our staff and worship team during their extensive Sunday at the church.

This team is responsible for helping out with childcare on Sunday mornings. There are different rooms from infants- 5th grade that all require help ranging from holding babies, changing diapers, chasing little ones just learning to walk, preparing arts and crafts, teaching lessons, and so much more

At CrossPointe Church, we care about our community and the people who live here! It is our desire to always have an outward focus and help those in need. As we continued to look at how we could best serve our community, we realized that there were many different and largely effective ministries already in place. So, instead of reinventing the wheel, we decided to just partner with these existing ministries by coming along beside them both financially and by offering volunteers to help reach our city for Christ!
This team goes to the homeless shelter of Lowndes County every Monday. Generally, we all meet at CrossPointe at 5:15 pm on Mondays and carpool there. This ministry focuses on the discipleship of the adults and kids at LAMP through the building of long-term relationships. "People really don't care how much you know until they know how much you care." We try to show this through sharing the love of Jesus in everyday interaction.
WorldCare Missions is an international missions ministry based in CrossPointe Church in Valdosta, GA. The purpose and goal of WorldCare is to share the good news of Jesus Christ through connecting people and seeking truth. We exist in order to bring glory to God through lives transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We desire to live and and serve as a community of God's people exhibiting and extending the love and hope of God. We believe in scripture that says go into your city then your country side and all the ends of the world showing our love, proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ and making disciples in His name. We believe in the literal translation of Acts 1:8 that says not when you arrive somewhere but "AS WE GO". This simply means that whatever we do for the sake of the gospel, we do AS WE GO. Our mission is not about a destination. It is about a lifestyle: FOR ONE. Each person reach one, for the sole purpose of glorifying the Father . We believe that this is the way that Christ lived His life.
