It is so amazing just to watch how God works and to be immeasurably more humbled by His willingness to allow us to be a part of something so incredible! God is at work at CrossPointe Church! We see it! Our community sees it! Even our brothers and sisters in other countries stand amazed at the great work He is doing here! Now, God is doing even more than we can imagine or think.

In this Project Pak, you will notice that our goals are for this Spiritual Initiative to be life changing as well as meet the financial goals set before us - secure nearly 15 acres of land for a future home. We will do this by taking up a huge “GO” Offering on March 25th, 2012 and by pledging to a 24 Month Commitment Offering which will be our way of following through for the next two years. Our goal is to finish Horizontal as quickly as we can and begin building as soon as possible.
In this Project Pak you will find lots of important information. First, you will find a general brochure laying out the basic information about Horizontal. There will be a Frequently Asked Questions page to help answer any questions you may have as well as a Giving Ideas A-Z page to help you see how you can raise even more money, for this project, than you thought otherwise. You will find in this Project Pack a Master Plan of the building project which offers a concept of what is to come later in the Vertical stage and finally, a commitment card for you to be able to participate financially in this mighty movement of God.

Q. What is a Spiritual Initiative?
A. A Spiritual Initiative is a journey. It will provide each of us an opportunity to participate in serving God by giving back a portion of what He has already given us. It is a focused time to consider how we can join God in what He is already doing in our church, community, and around the world.
Q. Why is this needed?
A. Currently CrossPointe meets in a rented facility. In order to truly be good stewards we must look at one day finding a more permanent home. In addition, we are already facing growth challenges that demand more space every day. In order to continue to reach people in our community we need to make room for them.
Q. Why now?
A. There are a number of reasons we must act now. Here are just a few:
Our current facilities are temporary and we need to develop a plan for a future home.
To move from a temporary to a permanent home is going to take time. This move will take several years to complete. Therefore, we simply cannot wait until our lease runs out.
The land opportunity that has been presented to us is the right place for the right price.
We are running out of space! We are already at capacity in our prime worship times.
Our vision demands it. We have been given a task to reach Valdosta for Christ.
Q. What is our goal?
A. It is to raise $400,000+ on March 25th, 2012 through our “Go” offering and to commit an additional $2,000,000 over the next 24 months. In addition we consider it a win for every person that calls CrossPointe home to participate in this Spiritual Initiative.
Q. When will we build?
A. For now, completing Horizontal is our focus. If we reach our goals this will allow us to purchase the land, and raise funds for soft cost related to going vertical. It is our prayer that God is simply going to amaze us and we will complete Horizontal in less than 24-months. This would be a miracle and it’s a miracle we believe in!
Q. How can my family and I get involved?
A. We are asking every family at CrossPointe to spend the next few weeks asking God two questions: What are you doing in me? And, what do you want to do through me? Come prepared on March 25th, 2012 to give the largest one time gift you ever given and to make a 24-month pledge to help in funding Horizontal. Let’s go Horizontal together, in order that we might ultimately go Vertical.
