Welcome to DiscoveryPointe Kids - the ministry of CrossPointe designed specifically for children from birth to 5th grade!! It is our desire to invest in the life of both these children and their parents so that we may help parents make a dynamic impact in their child's spiritual life. This age is all about discovery and we desire to help kids discover the greatest thing in life - a relationship with Jesus Christ! Noah Baby Room and Jonah Waddler Room
Here at Crosspointe we believe that every child is a blessing and a treasured gift from God. We also believe that even very young children can learn about God. Infants as young as four to six months old respond to happy times at church. By nine months, infants who’ve received loving care from parents and caregivers who talk to them regularly about God often begin associating God and Jesus with good feeling. Church becomes an attractive place where children want to go.
Each nursery session in our Noah Baby room (O-1) and our Jonah Waddler Room (1-2), offers children engaging play activities, Bible story time, appropriate worship music and loving attention from our nursery leaders. We strive to create a safe, loving, inviting and caring place for all the children in the nursery. Our nursery leaders provide hands-on loving care to infants, babies and toddlers, allowing their parents to attend worship services and other events with the knowledge that their children are safe and secure.
To ensure the safety of all our children in the nursery, not only have all nursery leaders and assistants undergone a screening process and background check, but your child is checked in each week using our security system so that no one can handle your child without your consent. You can worship, fellowship, and experience God's presence knowing that your child is safe, loved, and cared for in our DPK nursery facility.

Hero Toddler Room and Discovery Town Preschool
Our toddler room and pre-school classrooms are geared to teaching 2-3 and 4-5 year olds three main concepts
1) God made me
2) God loves me
3) Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
Our teachers prepare and study lessons from our FirstLook bible-based curriculum. Each week is full of objects for kids to touch, wild and wiggly activities to get them moving, crafts they will love getting into, and real life situations they can relate to. Our goal is to help each child master one concept at a time by creatively repeating the Bottom Line in a way that it will stick. Each teaching session begins with the teacher starting activities to introduce kids to the day's topic and help them feel welcome and comfortable in their classroom. Next, children take part in a large group time that includes a Bible story and worship. We believe toddlers and preschoolers are wired to worship! So each week we include a worship segment with music to encourage children to openly express their love for who God is and to praise Him for all He has created. After large group, the children take part in a variety of activities that will help them apply what they're learning. And finally, during small group time children will begin to understand that they can talk to God at any time and in any place. Kids will be encouraged to openly communicate with God in their own words while developing their ability to know and worship Him.
DiscoveryPointe Kids - Elementary
We would love to invite your K-5th grader to DiscoveryPointe Kids every Sunday morning at CrossPointe Church at 9:30 and 11:00. It is our hope that at DiscoveryPointe Kids, your child will experience the best day of their week through live drama, awesome music, fun activities, and great Bible learning in an environment created just for them. Each child will have the opportunity to experience God and His Word like never before. All kids are placed in both small groups and large groups where they build friendships with other kids and their leaders. It is our goal that the kids in this age group will learn:
They Need to Make the Wise Choice.
They Can Trust God No Matter What.
They Should Treat Others the Way They Want to be Treated.
What takes place?
Connect Kids are greeted by their small group leaders and are encouraged to join in the games and activities that are set out.
Plug In Kids move into their first small group time. The small group leader guides kids through hands on activities that tee up the large group time.
Power Up During this time there is plenty of kid-friendly music. Music that gets kids up and moving! Story Tellers bring God's Word to life through dynamic, relevant mini-dramas.
Catch On Kids transition back to their small groups for a second time. Small Group Leaders build a relationship with the kids through discussion, hands on activities and prayer.
Each of the activities from small group to large group time, build on to the virtue, monthly memory verse and "the bottom line" for that particular week. We want kids to walk away and know that God's timeless truth is both relevant and applicable to their everyday life.

We have a brand new facility with an entire wing for Discovery Pointe Kids! Just look for Dudley, pointing the way to DPK in the foyer!

Connect with CrossPointe in the DPK Nursery!
God is doing an amazing work in our DPK nursery area. Since we have moved into our new church building, our nursery attendance has doubled, children are separated into appropriate age levels with lessons being taught, and many men and women of God are using their talents to minister to them each week!! Praise the Lord! We also have added a new nursery room called the Hero/Toddler Room for ages 2 1/2-3 years old. This room, along with the Noah/Baby Room, Jonah/Waddler Room and the Discovery Towne/Preschoolers are thriving and experiencing God's presence each week as they learn three key points - Jesus wants to be my friend forever, God made me, and God loves me.
There are many options for helping out in the nursery because of our service schedules. Since we have two services, there is never the problem of missing out on the Word, Worship, and Fellowship. Also if you are a parent and have a love for our Lord Jesus, then you are more than qualified to help out. It's a great ministry for husband and wife teams as well.
